Women’s Tennis Recognized Academically for 11th Straight Season

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's tennis team earned its 11th consecutive Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic team award, while six individuals were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced Monday.
The Broncos posted a 3.61 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year to earn the team honor, collecting the award for the 19th time in the past 20 seasons.
Individually, six Broncos were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes for holding a grade point average of at least a 3.5 during the 2024-25 season. Ariadna Briones Ginesta, Maya Dutta, Ryan Kershner, Paula Schaefer, Bhakti Shah and Masa Viriant each received recognition.
"I'm incredibly proud of our group for achieving this accomplishment as a team and to the individuals," said head coach Beck Roghaar. "Congratulations to them for all their hard work and continuing this tradition of excellence in our program. I also want to shout out our amazing academic advisor Eric Kile who works tirelessly to make sure our players are set up for success."
