101 Bronco Student-Athletes Named to Spring Academic All-Conference Team

Women's track and field led the way for Boise State with 22 honorees

BOISE, Idaho – The Mountain West announced 101 Boise State student-athletes were named to the Spring 2025 Academic All-Mountain West Team  Wednesday.

Four women's sport programs led the way, women's track & field had 22 selections, followed by gymnastics with 15, softball with 13, and women's basketball with 12. These sports were followed by men's track & field with 11, women's tennis and women's golf with seven each, and men's basketball with six. Men's tennis and men's golf each had four selections.

These student-athletes contributed to the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) in department history with a 3.46 at the conclusion of the 2025 spring semester. As a department, all 18 sport programs secured a 3.0 GPA or higher, 87% of all student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or higher, and 70 student-athletes secured a perfect 4.0 GPA.

In order to be eligible for the Spring Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate injured student-athletes.
