Casey, Virgin-Morgan Earn Athlon Sports Preseason All-America Honors

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State offensive tackle Kage Casey and EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan were named Preseason All-America by Athlon Sports, the organization announced. Casey was tabbed second team and Virgin-Morgan was selected fourth team. This is the third Preseason All-America honor for Casey, who was previously named to Walter Camp's First Team and Phil Steele's Fourth Team, and first selection for Virgin-Morgan.
In 2024, Casey earned All-America honors from five outlets, including The Athletic and Walter Camp, who placed him on their second teams. He led all MW offensive tackles and ranked in the nation's top 15 in Pro Football Focus pass blocking efficiency (99.3), PFF offensive grade (83.3) and PFF pass blocking grade (87.0). In 2023, Casey was named Second Team Freshman All-America by The Athletic.
Virgin-Morgan posted a team-high 10.0 sacks last season, tying for 14th in the country. He also added 15.5 tackles for loss, tied for 17th-most in the FBS. He was named All-MW First Team and Phil Steele All-MW First Team. The Broncos led the nation in team sacks (55) and ranked third in TFLs per game (7.9). The redshirt junior was named to the 2025 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List.
