BOISE, Idaho — Boise State head men's golf coach David Trainor announced the team's 2025-26 schedule on Monday.
"I'm thrilled and excited to get our season going, and I'm extremely high on this year's group," Trainor said. "We have a mix of events that we've competed in the past, as well as a couple new ones on our schedule. We look forward to going up against some great competition, both within our region and conference, but also nationally."
Traveling to Pullman Wash., the Broncos' fall campaign commences with the Palouse Collegiate (Sept. 9-10). Following the first action of the year, Boise State will participate in back-to-back invitationals in Colorado (Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational — Sept. 20-22; Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational — Sept. 29-30).
Playing in two October tournaments, the Broncos wrap the fall season with the Oregon State Invitational (Oct. 14-15) and Ka'anapali Classic (Oct. 26-29) in Maui.
For the third-consecutive year, Boise State will send two participants to the Genesis Collegiate Showcase on Feb. 16. Senior Cole Rueck has won the event in each of the last two years, earning an exemption to the 2024 Scottish Open and 2025 Barracuda Championship, respectively.
The Broncos' spring season is highlighted by three tournaments the team appeared in a year ago. Boise State will once again participate in the Lake Las Vegas Invitational (Feb. 23-25), Oregon Duck Invitational (March 23-24) and UC Santa Barbara Intercollegiate (April 6-7).
Collectively shooting a season-best 841 (-23), the Broncos' lone victory a year ago came in the UCSB Intercollegiate. The team finished 21 strokes ahead of second-place Denver.
Boise State will also compete in the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate (March 9-10) in Aiken, S.C., and The Goodwin (March 26-28) in Palo Alto, Calif. Returning for the third-straight year, the spring campaign concludes with the Broncos taking on the Vandals in the Battle of Idaho at Hillcrest Country Club.
