BOISE, Idaho - Unbridled Campaign Chair Randy Hales and his wife, Lisa, have once again elevated their legacy of giving with a $2.2 million gift to Boise State Athletics. This transformational commitment is the latest milestone in their extraordinary partnership with the university and sets the pace for others to follow.

"Lisa and I have been longtime supporters of academics," said Hales. "This gift to athletics is a way of leveling up—showing our support across campus and meeting the university's collective needs." Their generosity will power the North End Zone and other game-changing capital projects, fueling the next era of Bronco excellence and inspiring fellow Broncos to join in shaping the university's future.

The Hales family's ties to Boise State run deep. Lisa is a proud alumna, and their son, Alec, also graduated from the university. Together, Randy and Lisa have supported initiatives across campus—from capital projects like support for the Imagination Lab in the Micron Business and Economics Building to creating endowed scholarships that honor both academic and athletic leadership.

Randy currently serves as a Boise State Foundation board member and chairs the campaign committee for Unbridled: The Campaign for Boise State University, which aims to raise $500 million by 2028. Most recently, he helped lead the Foundation Board's efforts to establish four endowed professorships. With this latest commitment to Athletics, the Hales family has now made an impact on every cornerstone of the campaign: endowed professorships, endowed scholarships and athletic support.

"Randy and Lisa's leadership and spirit of philanthropy should serve as a model for all of us," said Argia Beristain, CEO of the Boise State Foundation. "This gift is transformational in its impact and further strengthens their enduring legacy of generosity at Boise State."

"We are deeply grateful to Randy and Lisa for embracing and elevating our mission and vision," said Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Director of Athletics. "Their support has been instrumental in positioning both our department and the university for EPIC, and their generosity will leave a lasting impact on student-athletes and students for years to come."
