Boise, Idaho — Boise State opened Mountain West Conference play with a 3-0 sweep of Air Force on Monday night, highlighted by standout performances from Cade Hall (Wuzy), Emiliano Flores (Durtho) and Preston Ferrante (Prstn). The Broncos began their 2025 campaign with a statement win and continued a tradition of fast starts in conference play.

Boise State controlled possession early and rolled to a 5-1 win in Game 1. Durtho set the tone with precise shots and sharp mechanics, while Wuzy and Prstn added key assists and midfield pressure to keep Air Force pinned in its own half.

Air Force responded in Game 2 with tighter rotations and more scoring chances, but the Broncos stayed composed. Timely saves from Wuzy and crisp passing sequences set up a narrow 3-2 win. Wuzy buried the deciding goal late, and with steady defense behind him, Boise State moved to match point.

Game 3 was another tense battle as Air Force fought to extend the series. Boise State relied on disciplined rotations and quick transitions to close out a 2-1 clincher. Durtho's midair strike gave the Broncos the lead, and they held firm on defense to seal the sweep.

The victory highlighted Boise State's balance, with all three players contributing on both ends of the field. The Broncos improved to 1-0 in Mountain West play with the win.
