Quotables
"We lost a tough one tonight against Washington State," head coach Shawn Garus said. "Washington State played better and better as the match went on, and we seemed to get tighter and tighter. It was frustrating that we didn't respond to that challenge. I think we had a great opportunity to get a win over a solid Washington State team, but give them credit because they played better tonight."
"We have a quick turnaround on the road with a rematch against Gonzaga," Garus said. "They've made some changes in their lineup and I think it's going to be a really tough match. We've got to recover quickly from this and be ready to compete on Saturday."
