Left No Doubt: Broncos Secure Top Seed For PEC Championship

3/4/2026 10:03:00 PM | Esports

Boise, Idaho — Following a 2-0 victory against The Ohio State, the Broncos are now officially the number 1 seed in the Power Esports Conference.

The starting roster included Marshall Hainer (Daimyo), Wyatt Morrison (Master), Griffin Applegate (Skelesis), Kosmos Sutter (Kos), and Peter Mittelbrun (Skies). Notably, this was the last game for our two graduating seniors: Skies and Master.

Game 1 started on Bind, the Buckeye's pick, in spite of this the Broncos opened with a strong 10-2 half. Skies brought out the outlaw, getting 8 kills in the first 4 rounds, this allowed for an early ultimate and a snowballing of the lead. After a Buckeye comeback

The highlight reel didn't end in Game 2 on Haven, with each round of the half flip flopping back and forth, ending with a 7-5 half the way of the Broncos. Austin Julian (Prestige), was brought in for his Haven specialty, and once again closed out the map, taking the Broncos home. Match Notes: Skies Found 8 early picks that snowballed game one Master spray transferred 2 through a smoke game one Kos of course clutched 3 crucial rounds The Broncos didn't lose a round in the second half of game two.

"This team was incredibly prepared," said Head Coach Doc Haskell. "There are a few things to clean up, but we made sure we never took a fair fight."
