Broncos Move up to No. 19 in Latest AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Beach Volleyball moved up to No. 19 in the latest iteration of the AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll.
The ranking marks the second consecutive week the Broncos (13-11, 2-1 Big 12) are featured in the weekly poll. Last week's ranking marked the first time Boise State was represented in program history.
The Broncos are coming off an undefeated home weekend at the Boise State Beach Classic, taking down Oregon, Santa Clara, UTEP and CSUN. The Blue and Orange boast a 24-dual home winning streak, the fifth-longest active winning streak in the nation.
The program has undergone a rigorous schedule in its first season of Big 12 competition. All six members of the conference are ranked in the poll, including No. 5 Florida State, No. 8 TCU, No. 13 Arizona State, No. 18 South Caroline and No. 20 Arizona. Ten of the Broncos' 11 losses have come at the hands of ranked opponents.
Boise State will compete at home for the final time this weekend with the Boise State Beach Bash. The Broncos will host South Florida and Florida International on Friday before facing off against No. 11 Grand Canyon and Washington on Saturday.
