Boise, Idaho — Boise State Esports successful Mountain West campaign resulted three All-Mountain West Honors, including two back-to-back winners. Doc Haskell took home the Overwatch Coach of the Year honor, while Kelsey Moser snagged the League of Legends and Valorant Coach of the Year honors and Peter Mittelbrun was named Valorant Player of the Year. Both coaches won the honors last year as well, and Mittelbrun is the second Bronco in a row to win Valorant Player of the Year.

Haskell's award only marks the second time he's won the award at the conference level, despite having won six Mountain West Championships in a row. The sixth and final Mountain West win came this year over Oregon State in thrilling fashion. The Broncos took down the Beavers in five games, all of which were balanced on a knife's edge. Haskell's brilliant analytics work and strategy was a key factor in the win, having programmed his own scouting programs in line with his longtime philosophy of never taking a fair fight.

Moser led a resurgent League of Legends team, winning four games in league play, the most in a conference season by Boise State League of Legends since 2021. There is no doubt the team improved significantly over the course of the season, with positive results stacking as the year went on. This comes as no surprise, as Moser brings years of professional League experience, and it was only a matter of time before the Broncos took the challenge head on. On the Valorant side, Mosers squad appeared in the Mountain West Championship game. Her team, lead by Player of the Year Mittelbrun, was dominant all season, and ended up with a PEC National Championship.

Mittelbrun took his final year by storm, leading his team to a Mountain West Championship appearance, and nabbing a PEC National Championship. The fifth-year senior has already been named an All-American in years past, and can now add to his impressive list of accolades in his time at Boise State.

The Broncos are the only program to have a coach or player win a conference honor in every title in the spring season. The other winners include:
  • David Sartorio, San Jose State League of Legends Player of the Year
  • Hunter Collins, Air Force Overwatch Player of the Year
