Broncos Land Four on CSC Academic All-District Team

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's tennis players Allison Isaacs, Tereza Polakova, Paula Schaefer and Masa Viriant were named to the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must compete in at least 75% of their team's spring competitions and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Isaacs, in her first season as a Bronco after transferring from Old Dominion, is a business administration major with a 3.72 cumulative GPA. She posted an 18-2 dual singles record this spring, including a 17-1 mark at the No. 4 spot. Her 17 wins at No. 4 are the most in a single season in program history.
Polakova, a kinesiology major with a 3.79 cumulative GPA, recorded a 12-5 singles record primarily at No. 2 and a 14-6 doubles record primarily at the No. 1 spot. She also delivered the clinching point in Boise State's 4-1 victory over Utah State on April 17, securing the Broncos a share of the Mountain West regular-season title for the first time in program history.
Schaefer, a sophomore from Duisburg, Germany, holds a 3.89 cumulative GPA while pursuing a degree in business administration. She earned 20 combined victories in singles and doubles during the spring season, primarily competing at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles.
Viriant, an All-MW Tournament Team selection at No. 3 singles, finished the year with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. The business administration major posted a 14-4 singles record which is tied for the seventh-most wins at the No. 3 spot in a single season in program history.
