COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Boise State men's golfer Cole Rueck was named to the All-Mountain West Men's Golf Team.
Â
Rueck, who garnered the distinction in each of the last two years, is the only Bronco to be selected to the All-Mountain West Team three times. Dating back to 1972, Rueck is the third Boise State golfer to garner three conference honors, joining Larry Raschko (Big Sky, 1984-86) and Graham DeLaet (WAC, 2003-04, 2006).
Â
In his senior campaign, Rueck produced seven top-10 finishes, setting a personal single-season best, and two individual championships. He carded a 212 (-4) to win the Oregon State Invitational in the fall, and fired a 200 (-16) in the Lake Las Vegas Invitational to begin the spring season.
Â
Playing 30 rounds of golf, Rueck shot par or better 22 times and averaged a 69.67 18-hole score, signifying the second-lowest average in a single season (min. 15 rounds) in program history. That number trails only Troy Merritt, who posted a 69.53 average in 2007-08.
Â
After tying for second in PGA TOUR Qualifying School in April, Rueck earned full membership for the 2026 PGA TOUR Americas season and elected to begin his professional career. In his final competition with Boise State, Rueck shot a 211 (-5) and tied for second in the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Intercollegiate.
