BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics continues to gain national recognition for its commitment to innovative storytelling and creative content, as the department's communications staff earned multiple honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.

Bronco Studios Live was selected as a recipient of the 2025-26 CSC ChangeMaker Innovation Award, which recognizes forward-thinking initiatives that elevate storytelling, branding, digital media and fan engagement across college athletics.

In addition, Boise State Athletics staff members earned recognition in the annual CSC Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest for excellence in feature writing and event coverage. Alex Semadeni, Director of Sports Communications for football and beach volleyball, was named the District 8 winner in both the "Event Coverage" and "Feature/Blog" categories. David Dietrich, Assistant Director of Sports Communications for football, gymnastics and women's golf, earned runner-up honors in the "Athlete Profile" and "Historical Feature" categories.

"Telling the story of Boise State Athletics continues to be a major priority for our department," said Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs Chris Kutz. "These honors reflect the creativity, passion and commitment of our team as we continue to innovate, connect with Bronco Nation, and raise the standard for storytelling in college athletics. Huge shoutout to Alex and David for being the Jack Hughes and Connor Hellebuyck of our writing efforts this year while Jay continues to put in the effort and performance like Cal Raleigh from the 2025 season."

Bronco Studios launched its flagship program, Bronco Studios Live presented by Ford, in August 2025. Hosted by award-winning broadcaster Jay Tust, the show airs live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4 p.m. MT throughout the academic year.

The program streams live on the Boise State Athletics YouTube channel (@BroncoSports) and is available on demand at BroncoSports.com, through the Bronco Sports mobile app and on the Pac-12 Insider, the Pac-12 Conference's free ad-supported streaming television platform.

Bronco Studios serves as Boise State Athletics' in-house media studio, producing daily and weekly live programming along with a wide range of original content centered on Boise State student-athletes, coaches, staff, Bronco Nation and the greater Boise community.

The initiative is produced in collaboration with Boise State Esports, which has delivered more than 2,000 live broadcasts over the past eight years from its downtown Boise production facility.
