Broncos garner distinction for 12th-straight year
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women's tennis has been named a 2026 All-Academic Team, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Monday.
The award marks the 12th-consecutive year the team has earned the honor. In addition, eight Broncos received ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
"I'm extremely proud of this accomplishment for our team, and the consistency that we've had in the classroom," said head coach Beck Roghaar. "I think it speaks volumes to who our student-athletes are in terms of being champions, both on and off the court. Our mission remains the same within Boise State women's tennis: produce elite-caliber players and people who win everywhere. I'm incredibly grateful for Eric Kile, our academic advisor, who pours endless energy into our program and our team to ensure that our players have an unbelievable academic experience on top of winning championships on the court."
To be eligible for the ITA All-Academic Team award, teams must record a minimum 3.2 GPA or higher. Individually, student-athletes must hold a GPA of 3.5 or higher to be named to the ITA Scholar-Athlete list.
The Broncos posted a 3.68 GPA during the 2025-26 academic year to secure the honor. This marks the 20th time the team has garnered the distinction in the past 21 seasons.
Additionally, eight Broncos were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes for their efforts in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Stella Beldiman, Carla Grignac, Allison Isaacs, Ryan Kershner, Ella Piron, Tereza Polakova, Paula Schaefer and Masa Viriant each received the award.
