Boise State to Participate in 2026 Snake River Collegiate Basketball Invitational

BOISE, Idaho — As part of its nonconference schedule this season, Boise State men's basketball will host the 2026 Snake River Collegiate Basketball Invitational, it was announced on Tuesday.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 27, the invitational takes place in Idaho Falls and will be held at Mountain America Center. Featuring four teams (Boise State, Drake, North Dakota State and North Texas), the event consists of six games in three days, with each team playing one another.
"Over the past three years, we've fostered an incredible partnership with Mountain America Center, and we're thrilled to host a multi-team event this season in Idaho," said Boise State head coach Leon Rice. "I appreciate the diligence and hard work of our staff, the venue and Latigo Sports Partners for handling logistics and strategically putting together an invitational for avid basketball fans in this state and beyond. I have great respect for Drake, North Dakota State and North Texas, and I appreciate those teams accepting our invitation to be part of an exciting and rewarding event during Thanksgiving weekend."
In program history, Boise State has fared well against the field, compiling an 11-3 combined record. The Broncos will open the invitational with Drake on Nov. 27, followed by games against North Texas and North Dakota State on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, respectively.
All three days will feature two games, with each team playing once each day. Tickets are currently on sale and are offered in the form of a day pass. A single day pass grants admission into Mountain America Center for both games on the respective day.
