Submit a nomination for individuals making a difference in the community
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics and Les Schwab are teaming up once again to recognize the people who make a difference every day throughout the Treasure Valley through the 2026 Les Schwab Community Hero program, now in its tenth year.Â
Boise State Athletics and Les Schwab's partnership extends beyond football. Rooted in a shared commitment to community, the Community Hero program recognizes the individuals whose selfless service, leadership, and dedication help strengthen the Treasure Valley every day, reflecting Les Schwab's long-standing commitment to strengthening the communities it has served for more than 70 years.
Previous Community Heroes have ranged from an Olympian, military, teachers, first responders, youth saving cattle, and others who have committed their lives to volunteering and serving others. Community Heroes are individuals who go above and beyond to strengthen the communities they call home. Boise State and Les Schwab want to shine a spotlight on those selfless individuals whose service and leadership inspire others.

One Community Hero will be selected for each of Boise State's six home football games during the 2026 season. Each honoree will receive four tickets to the game and a $500 gift card to Les Schwab Tire Centers, along with the opportunity to walk out onto The Blue and be recognized as a Community Hero during the game.
Bronco Nation is invited to nominate a Community Hero who deserves to be recognized for their commitment to serving others and making a meaningful impact on our community. Whether they are a longtime volunteer, a dedicated coach, a mentor, a first responder, or have a different positive impact, Boise State and Les Schwab want to hear and share their story.
