2013-14 ● SOPHOMORE HIGHLIGHTS

  • HONORS: Named a Mountain West Scholar Athlete for maintaining a GPA above a 3.5.
  • Saw action in all three fall competitions and in four duals during the spring accumulating a 10-5 mark in singles and 6-6 record in doubles.
  • Went 6-5 in singles during the fall ... was 4-1 at the Jack Taylor Classic (Sept. 20-22) in Boise to advance into the Orange Flight singles championship match before falling in two sets ... went 1-2 at both the Washington State Cougar Classic (Sept. 27-29) and ITA Mountain Regional (Oct. 10-14) in Las Vegas, Nev.
  • In spring duals went 4-0 winning all four singles matches in straight sets ... played three matches at No. 6 singles going 3-0 and one match at No. 4 a victory over College of Idaho's (April 4) Allie Boyd 6-1, 6-0.
  • In doubles went a combined 6-6 between fall tournaments and spring duals.
  • Went 4-5 in doubles during the fall ... reached the Blue Flight semifinals with Megan LaLone at the Jack Taylor Classic (Sept. 20-22) ... went 1-2 at the ITA Mountain Regional in Las Vegas, Nev.
  • Recorded a 2-1 doubles mark during the spring ... went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles recording wins with both Milena Toseva and Anissa Bryant-Swift ... was 0-1 at No. 3 doubles with Toseva.


2012-13 ● FRESHMAN HIGHLIGHTS

  • HONORS: Named a Mountain West Scholar Athlete for maintaining a GPA above a 3.5.
  • Competed in three fall tournaments and seven spring duals tallying a 7-4 singles record and a 14-3 doubles mark.
  • Played in three tournaments during the fall season going 6-4 in singles and 7-2 in doubles.
  • First competition as a Bronco was at Washington State Cougar Classic (Sept. 14-16) in Pullman, Wash., going 2-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles reaching the flight's title match with Fiona Mok.
  • At the Jack Taylor Classic (Sept. 28-30) in Boise advanced to singles Orange Flight quarterfinals, went 2-1 in singles, teamed up with Megan LaLone to win the Orange Flight title finishing with a perfect 4-0 mark ... went 2-1 in singles at the ITA Mountain Regional in Las Vegas.
  • Saw action in seven duals during the spring campaign going 1-0 in singles on court six and 6-1 in doubles ... played primarily with Megan LaLone in doubles going 5-1 on court three, the remaining match was a win with Teal Vosburgh also on court three.


PRIOR TO BOISE STATE

  • A native of Waipahu, Hawaii, where she graduated in 2012 from the Iolani School.
  • Competed in tennis and cross country for two years ... as a junior tennis player competed in the Federation Cup in 2010 and 2011, the girls 16s and 18s Hard Court National Championships and the Junior Tennis National Tournament in Arizona.
  • Ranked in the top-200 players in the nation for graduating class.
  • Member of the 12's, 14's and 16's Hawaii Pacific Zonal team.
  • TENNIS HONORS: Two-time all-state and a four-time All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honoree ... 2011 ILH Player of the Year.
  • OTHER HONORS: Recipient of the James H. Pott Award which is given to the senior student-athlete who best exemplifies the highest standards of personal excellence and sportsmanship for teammates and school ... academic standout making the Headmaster's List and Honor Roll all four years ... recipient of the 2009 JTT Sportsmanship Award for Open 18's Division ... member of the Ala Wai Mentoring (Big Brother/Big Sister program) and summer school tennis coach.
