2021-22: CROSS COUNTRY- Competed in three races…made his Boise State debut at the CSI Classic (Sept. 3), recording a top-20 finish…finished 75th at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 23)…crossed the finish line in 61st in the men’s B race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (Oct. 15)…INDOOR- Competed in six meets…opened the season in Boston, Mass., at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 4), clocking a PR in the men’s 3,000m with a time of 8:11.99…posted a season-best time of 4:11.11 in the mile at the UW Preview (Jan. 15)...raced in the 800m and was a member of the fifth-place 4x400m relay team at the WSU Invitational (Feb. 3-5)...competed in the mile at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships (Feb. 24-26), finishing 15th…OUTDOOR- Made his lone appearance during the outdoor season at the Stanford Invitational (April 1-2)...clocked a PR time of 14:37.12 in the men’s 3,000m race.

Lucas joins the Broncos after graduating from Minnesota with his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management…CROSS COUNTRY- In 2017, won the Fall Finale 8k, giving Minnesota its 11th-straight individual champion at the event…represented the Gophers and the United States at the 2018 NACAC Cross Country Championships in El Salvador, finishing 22nd in the men’s U20 race…placed fourth in the Junior Men’s 8k at the 2018 USA Cross Country Championships in Florida…in 2018, made NCAA debut, finishing as the sixth Gopher and in 67th overall in the 10k at the Midwest Regional…INDOOR- In 2018, finished as runner-up in the mile at the Minnesota Open (4:22.51)… finished as 3000m runner-up at the Jack Johnson Classic with a time of 15:29.8…in 2020 won the 800m in a season-best time of 1:55.86 at the Minnesota Cold Classic…ran a season-best time of 4:10.50 in the mile at the Iowa State Classic…made Big Ten Indoor Championships debut in 2021, placing sixth in the distance medley relay…ran a career-best time of 4:05.89 to place 11th in the mile at the Big Ten Indoor Championships…OUTDOOR- In 2018, won the 1500m at the Bolstorff Twilight…recorded three top-10 finishes for the Maroon & Gold including one win in 2019…posted a personal record of 3:49.15 in the 1,500 meters at the Big Ten Championships…won the 1,500 meters at the Minnesota Men's Twilight with a time of 3:51.48…in 2021 ran a career-best time of 3:45.70 to place 15th in the 1500m at the Big Ten Championships.
