BOISE STATE CAREER
2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY-
Saw action in three meets in his last cross country season . . . Took 16th at the Sundodger Invitational, running 25:02.30 for 8k (Sept. 8) . . . Placed sixth at the Charles Bowles Invitational as Boise State’s No. 3 scorer to help lead the Broncos to the team title (Sept. 29) . . . Was Boise State’s No. 2 runner at the Inland Empire Championships, placing third in a career best 24:30 (Oct. 13) . . . INDOOR- Did not compete . . . OUTDOOR- Made three appearances on the season in the distance events . . . made his debut at 10,000-meters (31:03.87) at the Bryan Clay Invite (April 17-19) . . . took 16th in the event at the Mountain West Championship (May 8-11) . . . also appeared in the 5,000-meter at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, running 14:35.48 (March 28-30).

2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Appeared in one meet on the season . . . raced to a 63rd-place finish as the No. 6 Bronco at the Greater Louisville Classic (Sept. 30), running 24:47.03 for 8k . . . INDOOR- Competed in both the 3,000m and 5,000m races at the conference championship. Ran 15:50.55 in the 5,000m (Feb. 22-24) . . . appeared in the 5,000m race at the 2018 Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10) . . . won his heat of the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13). His time of 4:24.56 set a new personal best and was good for 11th overall. Also ran the mile leg of the Boise State ‘Gray’ DMR . . . OUTDOOR- Redshirt season.

2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Competed in two races in his redshirt sophomore season…opened the year at the Sagebrush Invitational in Logan, Utah and placed 28th with a time of 22:16.06 (7K)…also ran at the Roy Griak Invitational, taking 205th on the 8k course (27:42.1)...INDOOR – Ran in the 3,000m and 5,000m in the indoor season…won the 3k at the Jacksons Open with a 8:52.52…was victorious in the 3,000m for a second time in claiming the title at the Bronco Invitational in a career-best 8:42.76…also competed in the 3k at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (9:01.45)…clocked a 14:58.89 at the UW Invitational in the 5,000m…ended his indoor season at the Boise State Challenge (15:34.65)…OUTDOOR – Competed in just two meets before his outdoor season ended early due to injury…arguably the best weekend of his career came at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clocking a career-best 14:35.44 in the 5k to take second in his section and a 4:03.58 in the 1,500m…also ran at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, recording a 15:04.86 in the 5,000m.

2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY - Redshirted...INDOORS – Took part in four meets over the course of the indoor season, running in several different distance races…began at the Jacksons Open, helped the 4x400m team to second place with a time of 3:39.47…ran another key leg on the distance medley relay team, aiding the squad to a 10:37.15 for third place at the Ed Jacoby Invite…also ran in the mile that meet, clocking a 4:30.24 for 19th…23rd in the 5,000m at the UW Invitational, recording a time of 15:04.08...OUTDOOR – Competed in one outdoor meet, recording a 15:05.56 in the 5,000 meters at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.

2014-15: CROSS COUNTRY - (Nov. 14) Recorded a 59th-place finish at the NCAA West Regionals (31:06.2)...(Oct. 31) Finished 28th of 65 competitors at the Mountain West Championships (24:35.7)...(Oct. 17) Finished 182nd at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational in a time of 25:12...(Sept. 27) Placed 81st at the Roy Griak Invitational in a time of 26:18.2, the third Bronco to cross the finish line...Finished 21st at the Utah Open (Sept. 5) in his Boise State cross country debut with a time of 20:10.3...INDOORS - Redshirted...OUTDOORS - Began the outdoor season by taking part in the 5,000m at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival (15:53.29)...ran his fastest 1,500m time of the season at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a 4:02.75...competed in the 1,500m at the Border Clash.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
McCormick took 22nd his sophomore year at the 3A WIAA State Cross Country Championships and competed in the 2012 Nike Cross Country Northwest Regionals. He battled through injuries and illness his junior year to emerge back into high levels of competition his senior year. He took 33rd at the state cross country championships his senior year and competed in the Nike Cross Country Northwest Regionals for the second time in his prep career. McCormick recorded numerous top-ten finishes in track and field throughout his senior year, including five second-place finishes in the 1,600m, the 3,000m and the 3,200m at several different meets.
