Joel Schneider became director of football operations at Boise State in March 2018.
In his current role, he organizes, plans and coordinates all aspects of team operations. He is the liaison between football and various departments within Bronco Athletics. Schneider manages a team of 30-plus full-time interns and student employees to ensure all team needs are met.
Prior to his current position, Schneider spent 10 months as Boise State's football operations coordinator. He produced daily, monthly and yearly schedules for staff and student-athletes and oversaw the creative department of the football program.
Schneider began his Boise State career as a graduate assistant for football video in 2015-16. He earned his bachelor's degree from Boise State in business administration in human resources management and entrepreneurship management in 2014. He also earned a master's degree in athletic leadership from Boise State in 2017.
