Michael Frisina joined Boise State's football staff as a special teams analyst in March 2022.
Frisina comes to the Treasure Valley from UC Davis, where he served as the special teams quality control and specialists coach in 2021. He helped the Aggies reach the FCS Playoffs in fall 2021 and lead the nation in net punt average during spring 2021 with first-team All-America punter Daniel Whelan.
A two-year member of the Broncos (2011-12), Frisina was a member of the 2012 Mountain West championship team and kicked the game-winning field goal against Washington in the 2012 MAACO Bowl Las Vegas. He began his coaching career at UNLV in 2020 as a volunteer special teams quality control and specialists coach.
