Tim Keane was named the Boise State offensive line coach in January 2021. He was promoted to run game coordinator/offensive line in January 2025.

Under Keane’s direction, Boise State’s offensive line has earned three All-American nods, nine all-conference selections, and one all-conference honorable mention. The Broncos have also ranked top-30 in the country in rushing offense for three straight years (2022-24).

Keane also helped Boise State win back-to-back Mountain West championships in 2023 and 2024 while earning a spot in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in 2024.

In 2024, Keane mentored an offensive line group that helped Boise State rank fifth in the country in scoring offense, eighth in total offense, eighth in rushing offense, and eighth in first down offense. The Bronco offensive line was highlighted by second team All-American Kage Casey and a unit that paved the way for unanimous All-American Ashton Jeanty, who fell only 27 yards shy of matching Barry Sanders’ FBS record for most rushing yards in a single season.

Casey along with fellow offensive lineman Ben Dooley were named All-Mountain West First Team in 2024, making it five all-conference first team selections under Keane.

In addition to Casey picking up the All-America honor in 2024, he was named freshman All-American in 2023. Mason Randolph was a second team freshman All-American in 2022.

Keane arrived in Boise after his third stint at his alma mater, UC Davis, where he spent the four seasons (2016-19) as the Aggies' offensive line coach. UC Davis postponed its 2020 season to this spring.

In 2018, UC Davis won the Big Sky, made an appearance in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Playoffs, and set program records for yards rushing (2,159) and touchdowns rushing (27).

A pair of offensive linemen, Jake Parks (first team) and Connor Pettek (honorable mention), were HERO Sports FCS Freshman All-Americans. After the season, Keane was promoted to run game coordinator.

Prior to his most recent stop in Davis, Keane was the offensive coordinator at College of Idaho as the NAIA program restarted in 2014. The Yotes racked up 4,190 total yards in their first season back and averaged 25 points per game. The following season, the numbers improved to 4,514 yards and 28.5 points per game and the Yotes were ranked in the top 30 nationally in passing efficiency, sacks allowed, third-down conversions, total offense and yards rushing.

At College of Idaho, Keane coached three offensive players who were named All-Frontier Conference First Team.

From 2010-12, Keane was at UC Davis where he spent one season working with the punt return unit, one season mentoring running backs and two seasons as the offensive line coach. The Aggies earned five all-conference honors and one All-America selection on offense during that time.

Keane was an offensive graduate assistant at Tulane during the 2008-09 seasons and began his coaching career as offensive quality control at UC Davis in 2007.

A four-year letterwinner at UC Davis from 2003-06, Keane was the starting center as a junior when the Aggies upset Stanford. He started 22-straight games over his final two seasons and became the first Aggie to win the Bob Oliver Award twice as the team's "unsung hero."

Keane was a psychology major who earned his bachelor's degree in 2006. He and his wife, Carrie, have one son, Timothy, and two daughters, Abigail and Caroline.
