Da'Vell Winters joined the Broncos as the football program's chief of staff in January 2021.
Winters came to Boise after spending three years at Oregon as the assistant director of player personnel/player development. With the Ducks, his duties included assisting signees with their transition into Oregon and being a liaison between football and academics, alumni, compliance, parents, student-athlete development and therapist/medical support.

In 2015, Winters was the defensive quality coach/safeties coach at Wofford. He became the assistant director of player personnel at Oregon in 2016 and held the same position at Pittsburgh in 2017. Winters also spent a year as a personnel intern with the Miami Dolphins while serving his second stint with the Ducks.

Winters earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Ashland (Ohio).
