Jalyn Baker became a member of the Boise State football program in March 2021 as the Broncos' assistant director of sports performance.

Baker joined the Broncos from Jackson State, where he served as assistant coordinator for the Walter Peyton Center, working with student-athletes in all JSU programs. He also spent more than a year as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach, primarily working with the Tigers’ football program, and leading workouts for the school’s women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball programs.

Baker also spent time as an intern at both Houston and Prairie View A&M, where he was a student-athlete and ultimately earned a degree in kinesiology/physical therapy in 2018. Baker is currently finalizing a master’s in sports management at Jackson State.
