2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY- Saw action in three meets on the season . . . appeared at the Sundodger Invitational (Sept. 8) . . . finished 15th at the Charles Bowles Invitational in 17:41.1 (Sept. 29) . . . Boise State’s No. 4 runner in fifth at the Inland Empire Championships, running a personal best of 17:38 for 5k (Oct. 13) . . . INDOOR – Set new personal bests in both the 800m (2:19.94) and mile (5:07.54) at the Bronco Challenge, with her best finish coming in the mile at sixth (Feb. 9) . . . appeared in both the 3000m and 5000m at the Mountain West championship (Feb. 21-23) . . . OUTDOOR- Made four appearances on the season . . . took fifth in the 1,500-meter in 4:45.74 at the Border Clash (April 26-27) . . . season-best time of 4:40.50 in the 1,500-meter came at the Bryan Clay Invite (April 17-19) . . . best 5,000-meter time of the season (17:36.62) came at the Mountain West Championship (May 8-11) . . . ran 17:46.94 for 5,000-meter in her outdoor debut at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (March 29-30).
2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Did not compete . . . INDOOR- Ran the 3,000 at the Mountain West Championship (Feb. 22-24) . . . appeared in the 3,000m race at the 2018 Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10) . . . took fifth in the third section of the 3,000m, running 9:44.54 (Jan. 26-27) . . . ran the mile leg of the Boise State ‘Gray’ DMR at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) . . . OUTDOOR- Raced four times on the season . . . set a new personal best of 17:32.38 at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19-20) . . . took sixth in the 1,500m in 4:37.40 at the Border Clash (April 27-28) . . . also appeared at the Stanford Invitational (March 30-31) and Mountain West Championships (May 9-12).
2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Opened the season at the Sagebrush Invitational and logged a top-10 finish (8th – 18:04.14)…also logged valuable experience at the Roy Griak Invitational…took 111st at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational "B" Race, clocking a 23:49.9...INDOOR – Did not compete…OUTDOOR – Did not compete.
PREP:Â After taking third at the Australia World Cross Country Trials in 2015, Swanson was named a member of the Australian World Junior Cross Country team. In 2014, she won the ISF World Schools Cross Country Championship and was also second in the U18 3K Australian Junior Athletics Championships. 2014 also saw her win the U18 Australian Cross Country Championship. Swanson also participated in the Gold Coast Southern Cross University 10K run and took seventh after crossing the line in 35:14, a new personal best.
