Letter four years in golf under coach Willie Lake...also played basketball...most wins (10) in a season by a 3A golfer as a freshman when he captured the district championship...repeated as district champion during sophomore campaign and broke the Fruitland school record for a nine hole tournament with a 29...won 3A state title as a junior...carded six scores under par as a senior to set a Fruitland record...averaged 69.8 as a senior.
