HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
A member of the Swedish National Boys team (2016-18), helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish at the European Boys Team Championship in La Manga, Spain in the summer of 2017...won 16 junior tournaments with 11 runner-up finishes between 2010-17, while being the top ranked player in Sweden for his age group from 2012-15...finished eighth at the U21 Swedish Amateur Stroke Play in June of 2018...ranked as high as 1221 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings...the son of two-time Ryder Cup member Peter Townsend...a native of Dublin, Ireland.
