SENIOR (FALL 2012): One of only two Broncos to appear in each of the team[apos]s five fall tournaments...averaged 72.67 over 15 rounds, a mark that led the Broncos and qualifies as the seventh-best single-season mark in school history...already notched a career high with top-25 finishes in each of the five tournaments, including a tie for fourth place at the season-opening Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (Sept. 10-11)...carded a three-round total of 220 (+4) at the event...finished tied for 11th at the Ram Master Invitational (Sept. 15-16), posting a three-round total of 216 (+6)...tied for 15th at both the Dash Thomas Memorial (Sept. 24-25) and the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 22-23)...three-round total at the Dash Thomas Memorial (214; +1) was a season low...included was a final-round 69 (-2), his lowest of the season...also posted a 2-under second round at the Bill Cullum Invitational (70) en route to a three-round score of 218 (+2)...finished the fall season with a tie for 19th at the Wendy[apos]s Kiawah Classic (Oct. 28-30), posting a 54-hole score of 222 (+9)...is just one top 25 short of cracking Boise State[apos]s all-time list. JUNIOR (2011-12): Played in each of the team[apos]s 11 tournaments on the season, recording a career-high four top-25 finishes and two top 10s...scoring average of 72.72 is the eighth-best in Boise State history and ranked No. 13 in the Mountain West in 2011-12...captured his first-career tournament victory at the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate (Oct. 3-4)...marked the first win by a Bronco in more than two years...fired rounds of 72-67-71 to finish at 6-under-par (210)...was the only golfer in the 48-man field to finish under par...posted a 2-over 215 (71-72-72) at the Cougar Classic (Sept. 12-13), finishing tied for 13th...followed with a tie for 17th at the Dash Thomas Memorial (Sept. 26-27), carding a three-round total of 214 (+1; 70-68-76)...wrapped a streak of three-straight top-25 efforts to start the season with his victory at the Jim Colbert...finished tied for seventh at the Cougar Classic (April 27-28)...posted a 2-under 214 (72-70-72) at the event, the second sub-par tournament finish of the season...posted a career-low 66 (-4) in the second round of the Cowboy Classic (April 9-10)...finished with an even-par 210 at the Cowboy, one stroke back of the top 25...missed the top 25 by a mere stroke in three spring tournaments...had eight sub-par rounds on the season.
SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Played in nine of the Broncos[apos] 10 events, averaging 75.8 strokes and 3.9-over-par per round...counted 22-of-26 (.846) rounds on the season...recorded two top-25 finishes, including a season-best tie for ninth place at the Western Athletic Conference Championships...posted an 8-over 224 at the league tournament...also finished tied for 23rd at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational...fired back-to-back rounds of 73 (+1) in the 36-hole event...was the Broncos[apos] top finisher in three events...season-low 3-under 69 came in the opening round of the PING Cougar Classic...marked his second-career round in the 60s.
FRESHMAN (2009-10): Played in nine tournaments during his debut collegiate campaign...first action in the blue and orange was at the Giustina Memorial Invitational in Corvallis, Ore., where he posted an 11-over 227...played 26 rounds on the season, averaging 74.9 shots and 3.2-over-par per round...19.5 (.750) of his rounds counted towards team score...first-career top-10 finish came at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational, where he tied for eighth with a 2-over 146...added a 13th-place effort at the PING Cougar Classic with a career-best three-round total (215; -1)...led the Broncos in each tournament...fired a career-low 67 (-4) in the second round of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.
AMATEUR COMPETITION
Played in the 2012 U.S. Amateur Championship...won the 2012 Idaho Golf Association Men[apos]s State Amateur Championship with an even-par 213 (73-70-70)...fired a 1-under 70 in the final round at The Club at SpurWing to overcome a two-shot deficit to Bronco teammate Jordan Skyles...captured the 2011 Caldwell Amateur, winning in a playoff after carding a 54-hole total of 205 (-8; 68-68-69)...won the 2010 Southwest Idaho Amateur with a 6-under 138...tied for third at 2010 Treasure Valley Amateur and Mountain Home Amateur...in 2009, tied for seventh overall at the Kona Open, finishing as the second-ranked amateur...2009 Kahili Open tied for 11th overall, and again was the second-ranked amateur...2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship participant...2008 Boys Junior America[apos]s Cup...tied for third at the 2007 Hawaii State Junior Golf Association State Championship (15-18)...semifinalist at the 2007 Manoa Cup (state amateur match play)...placed third at the 2007 OCC Men[apos]s Invitational...member of Team Hawaii at the 2007 USGA Men[apos]s State Team Championship...won the 2006 HSJGA Junior Series Maui (15-18 age group), setting the course record at the Kahili Golf Club with a single-round score of 65...won the 2005 HSJGA[apos]s Tournament of Champions and Junior Tour Series Maui (13-14 age group)...placed eighth at the 2005 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship (13-14 age group).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Four-year letterwinner for the Trojans served as team captain during both his junior and senior years...was also a member of the canoe paddling team at SAHS...scholar athlete all four years...two-time Maui Interscholastic League MVP (sophomore and senior seasons)...four-time all-league first team honoree...placed in the top two as an individual at league tournament all four years, winning the league title as a sophomore and senior...led team to four state tournament berths, tying for ninth during his freshman season and 11th his junior year...helped team to three league titles.
