2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Finished 13th at the Inland Empire Challenge as Boise State's fifth scorer in 24:28.2 for 8k (Oct. 14) . . . Also appeared at the Greater Louisville Classic, running 25:08.96 to finish 100th (Sept. 30) . . . INDOOR- Ran the mile at the Mountain West Championships (Feb. 22-24) . . . Appeared in the mile at the Husky Classic with a time of 4:13.98 (Feb. 9-10) . . . Ran a personal best of 4:11.08 to take fourth in the second heat of the mile at the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) . . . Finished second in the 800m in 1:54.28 at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20) . . . Opened the season with the second-fastest 800m of his career, running 1:54.98 to win the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9) . . . Ran the mile leg of the Boise State ‘White’ DMR at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) . . . OUTDOOR- Ended his Boise State career with his best season to date, transitioning to mainly the 1,500m . . . Set a career best of 3:50.61 in the 1,500m at the Mountain West Championships (May 9-12), just missing the opportunity to score in ninth. Also set a career best of 14:37.88 in the 5,000m that weekend . . . Opened the season with a 3:52.33 for 1,500m at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, while also running a leg of the 4x400 (March 30-31) . . . Ran 1:54.38 for 800m to place 16th at the Sun Angel Classic (April 5-7) . . . Also appeared at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running 3:51.17 for 1,500m (April 19-20).

2014-15: CROSS COUNTRY - (Oct. 31) Placed 51st at the Mountain West Championships in 25:24.3...(Sept. 27) Finished 150th at the Roy Griak Invitational in a time of 27:02.8 as the fifth scoring Bronco...INDOOR - Ran a season-best time of 4:20.26 in the mile and a 2:28 in the 1,000m...OUTDOOR - Did not compete.


HIGH SCHOOL: Ghali started running 18 months before entering Boise State, training with the University of Toronto Track Club under the direction of Terry Radchenko and Gabe Johnston. During his first cross country season, he placed 14th at OFSAA and 16th at Nationals representing Team Ontario. He recorded personal bests in the 1,500m (3:49) and 800m (1:52). Ghali plans to study Kinesiology at Boise State.
