BOISE STATE CAREER
2018-19: INDOOR-
Easily won the pole vault at the Jackson’s Open, clearing 15-07 (4.75m). Only athlete in the field to clear 15-feet on the day (Dec. 8) . . . cleared 15-9 (4.80m) to take fourth in the pole vault at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 12) . . . cleared 5-meters for the first time in his career, easily winning the pole vault at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and Multis by clearing 5.05m (16-6.75). That mark moved him to fourth on the school record book (Jan. 18-19) . . . cleared 15-7 (4.75m) in the pole vault at the New Mexico Team Invite (Jan. 26) . . . appeared at the Jacksons/Nike Boise Indoor Invite (Feb. 1-2) . . . notched a victory in the pole vault at the Bronco Challenge, clearing a new personal best of 16-08.25 (5.09m) to win by almost six inches (Feb. 9) . . . was fourth in the pole vault at the conference championship (Feb. 21-23) . . . OUTDOOR- Concluded his career with a strong outdoor season, appearing in the pole vault at nine meets . . . qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round (May 23-25) . . . moved to third on the school record book by clearing a foot-higher than his previous personal best at the Stanford Invitational. Cleared 16-9.25 (5.11m) in a runner-up effort (March 29-30) . . .  took fifth at the Mountain West Championship, clearing 15’-7.25” (4.76m) to score four points (May 8-11) . . . won the pole vault in his outdoor debut at the NNU Invite and Multis (March 22-23) and the NNU Open (April 13) . . . was second at the Border Clash, clearing 15’-7” (4.75m) while also running 11.67 for 100m (April 26-27) . . . also appeared at the Sun Angel Classic (April 5-6) . . . the Bryan Clay Invite (April 17-19) . . . and the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 18).

2017-18: INDOOR- Scored a point in the pole vault at the Mountain West Championship, clearing 15-7 (4.75m) for eighth (Feb. 22-24) . . . appeared in the pole-vault at the Boise State Challenge (Feb. 10) . . . finished second in the pole vault at the Jacksons Nike Boise Indoor Invite, clearing a lifetime best of 16-0.75 (4.90m), his first time clearing 16-feet (Feb. 2-3) . . . started the season in dominant fashion, finishing in the top three at the first three competitions . . . set a new personal best of 15-11 (4.85m) to take third at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) . . . won the pole vault at the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9) in 15-7 (4.75m) . . . finished second at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20), falling in the jump-off in 15-9 (4.80m) . . . also appeared in the pole vault at the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) . . . OUTDOOR- Saw action at six meets during the outdoor season . . . opened the year with a victory in the pole vault at the Stanford Invitational, clearing 15-9 (4.80m) for his season best (March 30-31) . . . cleared 15-2.75 (4.64m) for the pole vault at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19-20).

2016-17: INDOOR – Picked up his first experience as  a Bronco pole vaulter in six meets over the course of the indoor season…took fifth at the Ed Jacoby Invitational thanks to a 14-5.25 (4.40m)… improved upon that mark the following week in clearing 14-9 (4.50m) to take sixth at the Bronco Invitational…sixth (14-1.25 / 4.30m) at the Jacksons/NB Indoor Invitational…logged his indoor PR when he cleared 15-5 (4.70m) for sixth at the Boise State Challenge…competed at the indoor conference championships…OUTDOOR – Came up big at the Mountain West Championships, earning sixth place thanks to a 15-7.75 (4.77m) – good for a huge PR…third at the Border Clash with a 14-6 (4.42m)…took 13th in a highly competitive field at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clearing 15-0 (4.57m)…also competed at the Sun Angel Classic, the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and the Stanford Invitational.

PRIOR CAREER
Justin Stattner - a pole vaulter - joins the Broncos after a year at Treasure Valley Community College. He was third at the NWAC Outdoor Championships after clearing 14-5.23, just short of his career-best vault (14-6). Prior to attending TVCC, Stattner was third at the 2015 Idaho 5A State Championships in the pole vault competing for Vallivue High School thanks to a 14-0.
