RANGITOTO COLLEGE
  • A fall 2014 graduate of Rangitoto College (high school) in Auckland, New Zealand.
  • Helped the team to a runner-up finish at the 2013 New Zealand Secondary School National Championship Tournament, in addition to two third-place finishes in 2011 and 2012. 

NATIONAL TEAM
  • Member of the New Zealand Junior National Team for four years, 2010-14 as a member of the U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams.
  • Was a reserve member of the New Zealand U19 team that advanced to the FIBA Oceania Championship in December 2014.
  • Member of the New Zealand U18 3x3 team that played at the FIBA Youth 3x3 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia, in fall 2013.
  • Helped New Zealand to a 3x3 bronze medal at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival at Sydney in January 2013.
  • Member of the New Zealand U19 3x3 team. 

CLUB TEAM
  • Played club ball for North Habour in Auckland.
  • Averaged 18 points, five rebounds, three assists, one block and five steals per game during 2014-15 season while playing for the U23 team.
  • As a member of the club’s 2013 U23 squad she averaged 22.5 points and 14.8 rebounds in 30 minutes per game, helping the team to the New Zealand national championship and earning tournament MVP honors in the process. 
  • HONORS: Named the 2013 Auckland Basketballer of the Year and the 2014 Maori and Pasifika Sportswoman of the Year.

PERSONAL
  • Fotu is the first Bronco from New Zealand in the program’s 45-year history. 
  • One-of-six international student-athletes on the 2015-16 Boise State roster joining Canadians Lexie Der and Jordan Tully, Spaniards Yaiza Rodriguez Ortego and Marta Hermida, as well as German Leonie Edringer.
