Cori Smith will enter into her second season as the Boise State women's basketball staff as the director of operations.

Smith comes to Boise after spending a season as an assistant coach at Treasure Valley Community College. Prior to TVCC, she was the director of operations at Utah State for two years.
Â
In her role with the Broncos, she coordinates team travel and helps schedule practices. In addition, she serves as the liaison between the coaching staff and support staff.

In 2017-18, Smith was a graduate assistant coach at Seattle Pacific. The Falcons posted a 23-8 record and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

Smith began her athletic career as a high school basketball coach. While working full-time in the mental health field, she spent a combined three seasons at Ballard High School (Seattle, Wash.) and Edmonds-Woodway High School (Edmonds, Wash.).

A 2008 graduate of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in communication, Smith has earned master's degree in counseling psychology from Seattle School of Theology & Psychology (2014) and intercollegiate athletic leadership from Washington (2018).
