REDSHIRT SENIOR (2018): Appeared in 12 meets this season, competing in the all-around five times...Scored a season-high mark of 9.875 on uneven bars on Jan. 19 vs. Denver/UIC/SPU...Has hit a season-high mark of 9.775 on balance beam vs. Sacramento State (March 2)...Has turned out stellar performances on floor exercise, scoring 9.900 four times, at Utah State (Feb. 2), at San Jose State/Iowa State (Feb. 9), at BYU (Feb. 23) and at the MRGC conference championships (March 24)...Has competed on vault twice this season, both times scoring 9.750 (Feb. 9, Feb. 16)…Scored two season-high marks at No. 17 Georgia (March 10) on floor (9.925) and beam (9.825) while also participating in bars (9.750)…At MRGC conference championships (March 25), she earned First Team All-MRGC honors as a part of the All-Around team (39.325) and Floor (9.900) and took home a share of the meet floor title….Finished the season by tying for fourth in the all-around competition (39.250) at the Columbus regional (April 7), but lost the tiebreaker and was unable to advance to nationals. She also led the team in vault (9.850).
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2017): First-team All-MRGC on uneven bars…started the first half of the season as an all-arounder, but eventually focused in on the uneven bars and floor in the second half of the season…was the Broncos’ best floor worker, finishing the year with a RQS of 9.870 to tie for 66th in the country…her success on floor was also shown through her four floor titles and three MRGC Floor Specialist of the Week honors, as well…earned a 9.85 or better on the apparatus on four occasions…posted a season-high 9.925 on floor at home against Denver on March 10, helping Boise State to a school record team score of 197.675 that night…was a key cog in the uneven bars’ lineup (9.855 RQS), tallying a career-high 9.9 twice on Feb. 3 and March 10…the 9.9 on Feb. 3 against Southern Utah secured the win and also earned her MRGC Uneven Bars Specialist of the Year…went for season-best 9.775s on vault twice over the course of the season (Jan. 20 and Feb. 3)…won on balance beam in the first meet of the year, posting a 9.85 to claim the victory…ended the year with three all-around scores, going for a season-high 39.200 on Jan. 27 and Feb. 3… NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honoree...Academic All-MRGC honoree.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2016): Second-Team All-American on floor...enjoyed a fantastic sophomore campaign, was named first-team All-MRGC in the all-around and a first-team honoree for floor exercise…her 9.95 at the MRGC Championships also made her co-champion in the event with teammate Maddie Krentz…finished tied for second in the all-around at Tuscaloosa Regional on April 2 with a 39.125…wrapped up the season with four all-around titles and a team-high seven wins on floor, which tied for the third most in a single season in school history…recorded career highs in all four events – including the all-around – over the course of the year; vault (9.825), uneven bars (9.875), balance beam (9.85), floor (9.95) and the all-around (39.475)…had a 9.9 or higher on floor on seven occasions… was named the MRGC Specialist of the week twice (Jan. 15 and March 11) and the MRGC Gymnast of the Week once (Jan. 29).
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015)Â - Competed in 11 out of 12 meets...recorded career bests on vault (9.80) beam (9.80) and floor exercise (9.875)...became a mainstay in the vault lineup, hitting 9.80 three times...earned second team All-MRGC honors on floor exercise with her 9.85 performance...was the highest scoring Bronco on floor exercise at the Berkeley Regional with her 9.875 floor routine.
CLUB - Competed for Excalibur Gymnastics earning the 2011 Junior Olympic National Championship on vault and runner-up on floor...the 2011 Region 7 Champion in the all-around and runner-up on beam and floor...2013 Region 7 beam champion and floor runner-up...was the 2011 Virginia State Level 10 Champion on vault, floor and all-around...also earned the 2013 state titles on floor and all-around...also represented her home country of Peru in international competitions...competed in the 2007 Junior Pan American Championships...competed in the 2009, 2011 & 2012 Pan American Championships...placed third on vault and made bars finals at the 2009 Pan Am Championships...crowned the vault all-around champion at the 2013 South American Championships, also earning bronze on floor...placed sixth at the 2012 South American Championships in the all-around.
