Jordan Gobatie joined Boise State Athletics as an assistant coach with the women's tennis program in August 2022.
Gobatie joins the Broncos after spending two seasons as the volunteer assistant coach at Arizona State. In his two seasons the Sun Devils posted a 32-17 record, including a run to the final of the Pac-12 Championships in 2022. Gobatie helped guide Arizona State to back-to-back trips to the NCAA tournament, earning a win in each appearance.

Prior to his time with the Sun Devils, Gobatie was the assistant women’s tennis coach at Northern Arizona for the 2018-19 season. That year he helped the Lumberjacks sweep the Big Sky regular season and claim their first tournament title since 1999. He coached five players to All-Big Sky honors including Chiara Tomasetti who picked up the Big Sky Most Valuable Player award. Tomasetti also recorded a program-best No. 44 singles ranking under Gobatie's guidance. NAU advanced to the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history, snapping a 20-year drought, and finished the 2018-19 season with a 15-9 record and 9-1 mark in league play.

Gobatie was a student-athlete for Northern Arizona’s men’s tennis program from 2013-15 after beginning his career at Riverside Community College. In 2015, Gobatie earned first team All-Big Sky honors after recording 22 wins and a team-best 10 doubles victories.
