  • Notable Statistics & Rankings: Recorded 89 kills, six service aces, 41 digs, 53 blocks (4th team) and 124.5 points.
  • Top Highlights: Started at middle blocker in 14 of the 28 matches played...led team in aces once and blocks twice...career-high seven kills on two occasions, the first at Utah State (Nov. 6) — to go with a season-high 10.5 points — and then in win over San Jose State (Nov. 11)...career-best two service aces in win at San Jose State (Oct. 12)...season high of four digs versus Arizona State (Sept. 8), New Mexico (Nov. 2) and San Jose State (Nov. 11)...tallied a career high for blocks with six twice, the first versus Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 8) and the second in win over Wyoming (Sept. 23). 

FRESHMAN (2022)

  • Top Highlights: Competed in 18 matches with three starts...first action in the blue and orange was in the season-opening win over Saint Mary's (Aug. 26), tallying four kills, three block assists and 5.5 points...first career start came at Montana State (Sept. 15), recording a season-highs for kills with six, assists with two and six digs...had a season-high 7.5 points in a victory over Saint Mary's (Aug. 27)...tallied a season-high five blocks and tied her high for points with 7.5 in win over North Texas (Sept. 16)...tied career-high for digs with six against Nevada (Nov. 10).

PRIOR TO COLLEGE

  • High School: a December 2021 graduate of Manhattan Christian High School...four-year starter for the Eagle's varsity team under coach Hanna VanDyk...was a three-time Montana Class C All-State First Team and four-time first-team all-conference honoree...she led MCHS to two Montana Class C championships and one runner-up finish, as well as four straight conference championships...her senior statistics are not available, but as a junior Van Kirk tallied 328 kills, 93 service aces and 167 digs...as a sophomore she recorded 394 kills, 37.5 blocks, 160 assists, 61 service aces and 263 digs...she was also a three-time all-state and all-conference honoree in basketball.
  • Club: Played club ball for the Big Sky Volleyball Club coached by Kandice Gregorak and the MSP Club coached by Shann Mack, both from Bozeman, Mont.

PERSONAL

  • Graduated from high school a semester early to enroll at Boise State in January 2022...Van Kirk's ties to Boise State run deep as both of her parents played basketball for the Broncos, her mother is the former Holly McMaster (1994-96) and her father is Kenneth Van Kirk (1995-98).
