Justine Callen officially joined Boise State athletics in June of 2016 working in the compliance office. In the fall of 2019, Callen transferred into the academic services department where she now serves as an academic advisor working with gymnastics, women’s golf and women’s track & field. She is responsible for the day-to-day advising activities of those sports and is the academic liaison to International Student Services.
 
Prior to her move to academics, Callen began her work with the athletic department in the compliance office as a student intern from 2015-16. Callen officially joined the athletics department when she was elevated into a graduate assistant position starting June 2016 and was later promoted to assistant director of compliance in 2018.
 
As a part of the compliance office, Callen served as the primary compliance contact for the Boise State men's tennis, gymnastics, women's soccer, track and field, and women's basketball programs. 

She assisted in the education of Bronco student-athletes, coaches, staff and University staff, by developing and presenting education materials, including a weekly newsletter and bi-monthly bulletin.

Callen earned her B.S. in political science from Boise State in 2015 and later received her Master's of Athletic Leadership in May 2018.
