The most-decorated student-athlete in Boise State history, Allie Ostrander won three-straight NCAA titles in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (2017-19) – the only Division I female athlete to win three-straight national titles in the event, 15th in any event. She is one of two athletes in school history to win multiple national championships in her career. Ostrander was named the Mountain West's all sport Female Athlete of the Year – she is the only student-athlete, male or female, to win the award three times in league history.
The Kenai, Alaska, native ended her career as a two-time national runner-up, 13-time All-American, a three-time Honda Sports Award finalist, a four-time Mountain West sport Athlete of the Year, eight-time Mountain West champion and 13-time All-Mountain West honoree. Ostrander still owns the Boise State records in seven events: indoor mile, indoor 3,000-meter, indoor 5,000-meter, indoor distance medley relay, 3,000-meter steeplechase, outdoor 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter.
In addition to her athletic success, Ostrander is a two-time CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-American, two-time NCAA Elite 90 Award winner, two-time USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was named the Mountain West Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2018-19.
