All American Football Player, Boise State 1947-48
Inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1984


Ben Jayne competed in football and track at Boise Junior College in 1947 and 1948. He was a starting end on the football team and was instrumental in leading BJC to undefeated seasons in 1947 and 1948. He possessed great leadership qualities and was an n excellent student. In recognition of his football achievements, he was selected a junior college All-American following the 1948 football season.
