Inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1987
Gus Johnson is widely regarded as the finest basketball player in the history of Boise Junior College. He participated in one year of basketball at BJC and during this season Johnson scored a total of 790 points and averaged 28 points per game. Johnson attended the University of Idaho and then moved on to an outstanding career in professional basketball.
