All American Basketball Player, Boise State 1992-96

From the north Idaho town of Post Falls, Michelle Schultz joined the Broncos as a guard and helped the Boise State women’s basketball team to a program record of 70 wins and 40 losses in her four-year career. Schultz was a three-year starter, earning All-Big Sky honors in 1995 and 1996, and All-American Honorable Mention status in 1995. Schultz was voted in the 1995 Big Sky Regular Season MVP by the league coaches. She received Big Sky All-Academic honors in 1993. She was a starter on the 1994 Big Sky Regular Season Championship Team that participated in the program’s first NCAA tournament. She still hold Boise State season and career free throw records (154 free throws made in the 1994-95 season, and 400 career free throws made in four years). A slashing shooter, her season scoring average of 19.9 points per game as a junior also still stand as the school record. As of the fall of 2004, Schultz continues to rank in the Boise State’s top 10 lists in several other categories. She scored 1,396 points in her four year career.
