Broncos Meet Oregon Eleven

BOISE, Idaho – Coach Max Eiden will take 30 Boise Junior College football men to La Grande Saturday morning to meet Eastern Oregon Normal in an afternoon game which will be the first test of the Boise club.

In spite of the injuries which piled difficulties upon Eiden from the start of the practice season, he expects to present a stronger lineup than the college had last year. The lineup was still in doubt Thursday night but the coach said it would be something like this: Center, Morgan or Long; left guard, Barton or Black; right guard, Jennings or Foster; right tackle, Weber or O'Neil; left tackle, Rigney or Campbell; left end, Sippa or Orbea; right end, Fisher or Taylor; left half, Stoddard or Clark; right half, Malley; full; Wassler, Goade or Urresti; and Cantlin or Shaw at quarterback. Three other quarterbacks are on tap, Shelton, Joyce and Jurries.

Eastern Oregon Normal is reported to have a heavier team of experienced men. Last year the normal held the College of Idaho to a 6-to-6 tie.

Manager Bob Brown will accompany the Broncos on the stage trip.
