
ANDREW BROWNING NAMED SECOND TEAM ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN

A senior from
Browning has made 40 total tackles this season, and leads the team in tackles for loss and quarterback sacks. He has made 10 tackles behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of 50 yards, with eight of those tackles quarterback sacks.
This past week he was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Week for his effort in
Browning, along with teammate’s punter Kyle Stringer and defensive end Nick Schlekeway were named to the 2006 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 8 team in early November.
Browning was the only player from the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) to make either the first or second academic All-America teams this year.
