Western Michigan Game Details Announced

BOISE, Idaho –Boise State and Western Michigan will kick off at either 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. MT on Sept. 26, officials from the MAC announced on Monday. The game will air nationally on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Final time and network designations will be made following the games on Sept. 19.
 
The contest will be the first meeting between the two programs. The game is the first of a home-and-home agreement with the Broncos. Boise State will host Western Michigan on Sept. 22, 2029.
 
Both teams are receiving votes in the AP and Coaches Poll. Western Michigan is 1-1 on the season, having lost to Michigan, 13-12, in the season opener before defeating Monmouth, 49-14, last Saturday. The Broncos will travel to face Rice on Sept. 19.

Boise State holds a 39-7 record when broadcast on ESPN 2 and a 9-2 mark on ESPNU.

Prior to the matchup between the two Bronco programs, Boise State will host South Dakota on Sept. 19. The game against the Coyotes will kick off at 8 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
