BRONCO HOOPS IN SAN DIEGO DAY BEFORE POINSETTIA BOWL
The Boise State men’s basketball team is on the road at the University of San Diego on December 22nd. For Bronco fans traveling to the 2008 Poinsettia Bowl, it means a football-basketball combination while in San Diego. The basketball game will take place at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on the campus of the University of San Diego, tipping off at 7:00 pm Pacific Time.
Discounted tickets have been set up by the University of San Diego for Bronco fans traveling to the bowl game. Just call the San Diego ticket office at (619) 260-7550 and use the code word BRONCOS. The ticket office is open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time daily. Tickets are $12 with the discount off regular priced tickets of $16.
San Diego is the defending West Coast Conference champions, advancing to the NCAA Tournament, where they defeated Connecticut in the first round. Last season, Boise State downed San Diego, 77-71, in Boise.
