New Mexico Bowl The third annual New Mexico Bowl will be contested in Albuquerque, N.M., on Dec. 20 (ESPN). The Bowl will feature a WAC team against a team from the Mountain West Conference. Last year, Nevada was shut out for the first time in 329 games, 23-0, in a contest against host New Mexico.

Sheraton Hawaii Bowl The seventh Sheraton Hawaii Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Dec. 24 (ESPN). The Hawaii Bowl will select a WAC team and will match it against a Pac-10 opponent. Last year, Boise State came back from a 24-point deficit in the third quarter before giving up a field goal as time expired in a 41-38 loss to East Carolina.

Roady's Humanitarian Bowl The 12th Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl will be contested in Boise, Idaho, on Dec. 30 (ESPN2). The Bowl will select a WAC team and will match it against a team from the ACC. Last year, Fresno State defeated Georgia Tech, 40-28. Clifton Smith rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns while Tom Brandstater threw for a score and rushed for another in the victory. Fresno State racked up 571 yards of total offense against a team ranked 11th in the nation in total defense entering the game.
