Bronco Gymnastics Ranked No. 25 in 2008 NACGC/W Academic Team Rankings, Eight Gymnasts Earn Individual Honors

Junior Courtney Achter (social work) joined freshmen Amanda Burnett (general business) and Mallory Dziawura (health science) as the top honorees for the Broncos joining 57 additional NCAA Division I female gymnasts who earned a 4.00 GPA. Achter earned her second career NACGC/W All-American Scholar Athlete Award. Junior Ashli Rainboth ties for the No. 73 ranking, earning a 3.96 GPA in elementary education. Freshman Kelsey Lang (undeclared) earned a 3.80 GPA while Tessa Campbell (health science) earned a 3.63 GPA on the year to pick up her second NACGC/W All-American Scholar Athlete Award. The Broncos’ top-25 finish is the third-best finish in program history, while the eight individual honorees rank as the second-best finish.
All six Western Athletic Conference teams made it into the team rankings with Southern Utah University and Cal State Fullerton joining the Broncos in the top-25 ranks.
