2010 Boise State Football Schedule Announced

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State University announced its complete 2010 football schedule today (March 15) with six games to be nationally televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Five Bronco games will be played away from the traditional Saturday date with one on a Monday, one on Tuesday and three on Friday).
The defending Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and two-time defending Western Athletic Conference champions open their season on Labor Day (Sept. 6) against Virginia Tech at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The game will be broadcast on ESPN with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m. (ET).
The second nationally televised game will be Boise State's home opener on Sept. 25 (Saturday) against Oregon State University. That game will be seen on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
Three games to be broadcast on ESPN2 include Boise State's game at Bronco Stadium on Oct. 26 (Tuesday) against Louisiana Tech University, its game at the University of Idaho on Nov. 12 (Friday) and its game at home against Fresno State on Nov. 19 (Friday).
Boise State's game against the University of Nevada on Nov. 26 (Friday) will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The Broncos begin defense of its league championship on Oct. 2 (Saturday) at New Mexico State University, with their final WAC and regular season game scheduled for Dec. 4 (Saturday) at Bronco Stadium against Utah State University.
Boise State will travel to the University of Wyoming on Sept. 18 (Saturday) and host the University of Toledo on Oct. 9 (Saturday) in its other two non-conference games.
The Tuesday game against Louisiana Tech will mark the first time the Broncos have played a regular season game on that day of the week. The Broncos have played on Tuesday three other times, but all were postseason bowl games.
Boise State's other two games include a trip to San Jose State on Oct. 16 (Saturday) and playing host to the University of Hawai'i on Nov. 6 (Saturday).
Along with the 8:00 p.m. (ET) kickoff against Virginia Tech, the only other times announced today include 6:00 p.m. (MT) on Oct. 26 against Louisiana Tech, 6:00 p.m. (PT) on Nov. 12 at Idaho and 7:30 p.m. (MT) on Nov. 19 against Fresno State.
