AURORA, Ore. - Sophomore Samantha Martin made it back-to-back top-10 finishes to open the 2013-14 season, finishing tied for 10th in leading the Boise State women's golf team at the Rose City Collegiate, Tuesday.

Martin carded a final-round 77 (+5), finishing with a 36-hole total of 150 (73-77, +6) at the par-72, 6,080-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club.

She opened the season with a career-best tie for seventh place at the Bronco Fall Invitational (Sept. 16-17), and has a streak of three-straight top 10s dating back to the 2013 Mountain West Championships, where she tied for ninth.

Rain delayed the start of the Rose City Collegiate, and what was supposed to be a three-round event was shortened to 36 holes. The Broncos were unable to play a practice round Sunday due to the weather conditions.

Boise State recorded rounds of 310-324 (634, +58), finishing 12th.

Freshman Genevieve Ling (77-81--158, +14), sophomore Sammie Pless (77-85--162, +18), redshirt junior Jenna Leurquin (83-82--165, +21) and freshman Jamie Donizio (87-84--171, +27) rounded out the scoring for the Broncos.

Next up for Boise State is the Price's "Give `Em Five" Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M., Oct. 7-9.
