ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Boise State women's soccer fell 1-0 Friday, at New Mexico. The Lobos scored in the 38th minute for the only goal in the match.
The Broncos (5-8-3, 2-5-0 MW) have dropped their first three road conference matches.
Janelle Flores made seven saves for the Broncos, but could not stop the deciding shot. A cross in the box by Quincy Sola found the feet of Claire Lynch. After Lynch fought her way through the Bronco back line, she let rip a shot to the far post and beat the Boise State keeper.
The Broncos took seven shots in the match and put two on goal. Brooke Heidemann and Dani Brown had the best chances for Boise State.
Boise State will return to the field Sunday, at Mountain West leader San Diego State. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:30 am PT.
