SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Boise State arrived in San Diego for the 2015 Poinsettia Bowl Saturday, getting a practice in before receiving a rousing welcome from Poinsettia Bowl representatives.

The Broncos will take on Northern Illinois Dec. 23 at Qualcomm Stadium. The contest will be televised on ESPN.

The day began for a number of Broncos at Boise State's graduation ceremony, as members of the team received their hard-earned degrees.

Once the ceremonies were through, the Broncos departed for San Diego, arriving just before 4 p.m. PT, boarding the buses and heading to Southwestern College for practice. After a full practice in the 56-degree San Diego weather, under an overcast sky, the Broncos finally headed to their host hotel.

There, they were welcomed by Poinsettia Bowl representatives as well as a mariachi band playing "Feliz Navidad." After a formal welcome from the Poinsettia Bowl, the Broncos finally settled in for their first night in San Diego.
